Yes, we reap what we sow. There's more than one way to skin a cat and if she or he is wrong...you don't need to conspire to set or trip them up and you certainly don't need to partake in abusing them. What man is unable to rectify or adjust...God and karma certainly will. Stay out of the middle of it and worry about your own issues. Don't believe everything you're told. Yes, there may be some truth to it, but always consider the source of the tale. The length of time you've known them, their job description, financial or social standing are not tools by which you should measure their truthfulness or reliability...consider (unbiased) their motive and what they stand to gain by embarrassing, hurting or repeating said gossip ...
