Judge Orders Release of Charlotte Police Officer's Personnel File

Fired Charlotte Police Officer Marcus Jackson lost his fight to prevent officials from releasing his personnel file. Jackson is accused of crimes against several women that include Felony extortion and kidnapping. Crimes the 26-year-old comitted while on duty. A judge decided that the public should have access to those records immediately.
While some of the information comes as no surprise, some contradicts what Police Chief Rodney Monroe said shortly after Jackson's arrest and termination.

"I'm aware of one time, one incident that he's been suspended for and that involved speed, operating a vehicle outside of policy," said Monroe.
