Recently cut San Antonio Spurs shooting guard Joshua Primo responded to a lawsuit filed by a former team Therapist saying she is simply using "ugly stereotypes and racially charged fears" for financial gain. Primo was cut from the team following allegations he exposed his genitals to Dr. Hillary Cauthen nine times during therapeutic sessions, the Daily Beast reported.
In her lawsuit filed in Bexar County Cauthen, who made it clear she is looking for accountability not money, said her reports fell on deaf ears and the only thing that changed was her employment status when team officials failed to renew her contract for the upcoming season.

“The Spurs organization was willing to sacrifice Dr. Cauthen to keep what they hoped would one day be a star player,” Cauthen’s lawsuit says. “Once Primo's conduct entered the public sphere, the Spurs were forced to act and release Primo. The Spurs' recent actions with regard to Primo are too little, too late.”
Primo denied intentionally exposing himself to Dr. Cauthen and added that she never mentioned the incidents to him directly. The statement went on to say that Cauthen's allegations are either a "complete fabrication, a gross embellishment or utter fantasy." Since the doctor's allegations surfaced two more women from Minnesota and Nevada have come forward alleging Primo also exposed his genitals to them.
